Materials

A frame for your space.

Choose a wood frame in Oak, Ash or Walnut, or anodized aluminum in Clear or Blue. Each gives the light a different relationship to the materials around it.

The light

A luminous face and edge.

A frosted acrylic face spreads light across the panel. Exposed luminous edges reveal the depth of the object and bring its glow into the surrounding space.

Light as an experience

An object. A presence in the room.

Designed by Kip Geddes, Circadia treats light as part of the room’s material palette. Its broad face, luminous edges and surrounding frame give it a presence both as an object and as an atmosphere.

The luminous field

Color across a surface.

The broad face gives color room to unfold. Gentle transitions across the frosted acrylic create a luminous field, from cool blue and lilac to warm peach and amber.

Shown together, these studies explore different expressions of the same form. The surrounding frame and wall remain part of the composition.

The material detail

A face, an edge, a frame.

Light extends through the exposed acrylic sides, revealing the depth of the object. The relationship between the frosted face and luminous edge makes Circadia’s profile part of its character.

The frame completes that composition. Wood introduces grain at the perimeter; anodized aluminum provides another material expression, with neutral and colored finishes.

In an interior

Light, repeated through a space.

A sequence of luminous surfaces can give a room rhythm. This corridor study explores how repeated panels, changing perspective and the surrounding walls bring light into the experience of moving through a space.

What is the lead time?

Lead times vary. If you are working toward a particular date, contact our studio with your finish choice, quantity and delivery location before ordering.

How much is shipping?

Shipping within the 48 contiguous U.S. states is a flat $200 per order for Meditation Chair and Circadia purchases. Shipping to all other destinations is quoted separately; contact our studio before ordering.

What should I confirm before installation?

Discuss the intended wall, available space and access with our studio. Confirm the final dimensions, mounting, power and control requirements before preparing the wall or coordinating installation.

Does the image change for every finish?

Yes. Selecting a finish brings its frame detail into view. Frame finishes are shown with different light settings to reveal each material’s color and texture; the light color shown is separate from your frame finish selection. These are illustrative renderings; wood grain and finish appearance vary. The full-panel and room images are shared design studies.

Can I specify Circadia for a commercial project?
